We worked with two utilities to sort out a service territory issue, helping negotiate the way to green light interconnection and development of a proposed 2.3MW ground mount solar system in Burrillville Rhode Island. After National Grid’s interconnection studies, they discovered that the project was actually in the Pascaog Utility District’s service territory and that utility does not offer the net metering and feed-in tariff programs that provide enough revenue for project development.  After negotiating a compromise between the utilities, we helped get the PUC to approve participation in National Grid’s programs, despite the service territory question.  The project is now back on track for development.
