Wind Banner Coventry

Handy Law supported the development of nine 1.5MW wind turbines in Coventry, Rhode Island.  Our role was broad, including development and negotiation of the real estate agreements, supporting entitlements and utility agreements, and extensive legislative, litigation and policy support work.  Most of the the project was sold to public entities for net metering but 3 turbines were retained by the owner. The projects’ performance has far exceeded expectations.
